Aseel Sultan, an exceptional entrepreneur, has carved out a space for herself in the fields of digital marketing and graphic design. With a Master’s in Business Administration underway, her journey has been one of persistence and passion. Through years of dedication, Aseel has left an indelible mark on entrepreneurship and modern technologies, striving to empower Palestinian youth with innovative projects that connect them to invaluable educational and professional opportunities.

Her story is one of overcoming adversity, using technology as a bridge to new possibilities. "It was on a stormy day," Aseel reflects, "when the idea for 'Jusoor' first began to take shape in my mind." In the midst of the ongoing wars and political unrest surrounding her, she saw technology as the only viable path forward, a way to open doors to something greater. The platform she envisioned would be a place where idea owners, job seekers, and investors could connect—a place where opportunities could flourish, not stifled by the tragedies of war. “Wars don’t just kill people,” she says, “they kill opportunities too.”

But Aseel’s path was not an easy one. "It wasn’t easy," she admits, recalling the early challenges. The platform’s development wasn’t just about creating a digital space—it was about overcoming the geographic and political restrictions that often limit progress. "We had to create something sustainable, despite all the obstacles. It meant working on a long-term plan that could evolve with time and shifting realities," she explains. Her ambition was clear: she wanted 'Jusoor' to become the go-to platform for anyone pursuing success, carrying a clear and powerful message of hope.

The vision behind 'Jusoor' was simple yet profound: connecting youth with opportunities. Aseel dreamed of a space where graduates and job seekers could find the opportunities they dreamt of, from jobs to scholarships. "Our mission was to tackle economic, educational, and social issues," she says. “We wanted to support not only entrepreneurs with training, but also help them secure funding to expand their projects and connect with investors who could bring their ideas to life.”

‘Jusoor’ became more than just a platform—it was a lifeline. It offered a database of job opportunities tailored to specific skills and qualifications, training programs to boost personal and professional development, and scholarships for higher education. It bridged the gap between Palestinian talents and organizations offering educational, economic, and social opportunities. Moreover, it supported aspiring entrepreneurs, helping them find the resources they needed to grow their businesses and networks.

In creating this unified environment, Aseel and her team focused on equipping youth with the technological tools and knowledge to build a better future. Collective collaboration was at the heart of their approach, seeking advice from experienced professionals and experts to ensure that the platform truly met the needs of the youth. “We dedicated ourselves to creating solutions that serve the community and achieve its goals,” Aseel explains. "By bringing together professionals with expertise in technology, entrepreneurship, and marketing, we ensured our vision was centered on development and growth."

Aseel’s determination is matched by the steadfast support of her partner, Hala Al-Kahlout, the Public Relations Manager at 'Jusoor'. With three years of experience in digital marketing and social media management, Hala played a pivotal role in creating and maintaining the platform’s database and connecting it to a wider audience. Together, they designed training programs that fostered skills development and offered scholarships to help Palestinian youth access higher education.

Despite all the challenges they faced—from limited communication between relevant parties to the lack of funding and support—Aseel and Hala pressed on. “It is not easy to see success emerge amidst conflict and war,” Aseel acknowledges, “but it is not impossible. I promised myself I would be the storyteller, chronicling success after success and urging my peers to rise and take that first step toward a better future.”

Her vision for 'Jusoor' is not just about creating opportunities; it’s about nurturing hope and inspiring resilience. "I promise them that ‘Jusoor’ will carry their steps, and their stumbles, until they reach the other side," she says, confident that her platform will guide them toward the success they deserve.

In a place where hope often feels like a distant dream, Aseel Sultan’s journey is a testament to the power of perseverance, vision, and the belief that, even in the darkest of times, the right connections and the right opportunities can transform lives.

تتحدث أسيل عن اللحظة التي وُلدت فيها الفكرة: "كان ذلك في يومٍ عاصف بعد نزوحنا إلى خانيونس، في يوم يطغي عليه صوت ارتطام الريح بالخيام، حينما بدأت فكرة 'جسور' تأخذ شكلها في ذهني. فوسط الحروب والصراعات المستمرة التي تحيط بنا، شعرت أن التكنولوجيا هي المنفذ الوحيد الذي يمكن أن يقودنا إلى شيء أكبر من الخيمة على الأقل.  فكرت في منصة تربط أصحاب الأفكار بالمستثمرين والباحثين عن العمل، لأن الحروب لا تقتل الناس فحسب، بل تقتل الفرص أيضًا."

"اعترف بذلك.. لم يكن الأمر سهلاً" تستذكر أسيل العقبات التي واجهتها في البداية وتقول إن التحدي الأكبر لم يكن فقط في بناء المنصة، بل في تجاوز قيود الجغرافيا والسياسة وما تحكم به ظروف الحرب.  كان علينا أن ننشئ شيئًا يظل مستدامًا رغم كل ما نواجهه من معوقات.  كان على أسيل أن تعمل على خطة طويلة المدى بصيغة تتطور مع الوقت والمتغيرات؛ تطمح لأن تكون 'جسور' وجهة موثوقة لأي شخص يسعى للعودة مرة أخرى للعمل بعد الانقطاع، أو للبدء من جديد سعياً للخروج من القفص.

تغوص أسيل في تفاصيل رؤيتها للمنصة وتشرح: "خلاصة الفكرة، هي ربط الشباب بالفرص بأي طريقة كانت وبأي فرصة متاحة؛ أردت أن تكون 'جسور' المكان الذي يجد فيه الخريجون والباحثون فرصاً قد تأخذهم من الوحل الواقع الحالي إلى مكان قد يكون أفضل، أردنا أيضاً أن ندعم أصحاب الأفكار ورواد الأعمال، ليس فقط بالتدريب، بل أيضًا بربطهم مع جهات التمويل المتاحة لتوسيع مشاريعهم وربطهم"

فجسور منصة تعرض الوظائف والمنح وتربط الخريجين الذين يحذوهم الأمل نحو عن فرص عمل وتطوير مهني لتحسين مستواهم المعيشي. تهدف بذلك لحل مشاكل أساسية عن طريق ربط الكفاءات الفلسطينية مع منظمات ومؤسسات تمنح فرص اقتصادية وتعليمية واجتماعية، إلى جانب دعم أصحاب المشاريع ورواد الأعمال الباحثين عن تمويل وتدريب، لتوسيع مشاريعهم وشبكاتهم.

 ولما كان هدفنا تنمية الذات والمجتمع، أنشأنا بيئة موحدة مسلحة بالأدوات التقنية طمعاً في تشيد قادم أفضل، صابين اهتمامنا لجانب التحديات المستعصية طامحين لتمكين الشباب وتطوير قدراتهم تحت وطأة نقص مجالات التوظيف والتعليم، فضلاً عن تكاثف الظروف الصعبة والبائسة.
